Miyabi Artisan 6000 MCT
Exceptionally crafted knives represent a harmonious blend of beauty and functionality. In the case of this series, the fusion involves marrying elegance with ultra-hard powder steel. The core, composed of ultra-hard MC63 micro carbide powder steel, is enveloped by two additional steel layers featuring a hand-hammered finish known as Tsuchime in Japanese. The CRYODUR blades undergo a specialized hardening process, including ice-hardening at -196 °C, resulting in remarkable hardness (approx. 66 HRC). The blade, honed on both sides using the Honbazuke technique, achieves an ultra-sharp finish, with each blade hand-honed to a razor-sharp angle ranging from 9.5° to 12°.
The robust Pakkawood handle, designed with a specially developed form, ensures perfect balance and high levels of comfort, facilitating the effortless use of various cutting techniques. Its sophisticated appearance, characterized by dark wood and a chic end cap, adds to the overall aesthetic appeal of the knives.
