We are Gastronomy Plus Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 07031979, with our registered office at Central Barn, Claughton Business Park, Hornby Road, Claughton, Lancaster LA2 9JX. Our main trading address is our registered address. Our VAT number is GB 116 6238 25.

2. Our Products

2.1 The images of the Products on our site are for illustrative purposes only. While we make every effort to display colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer's display of colours accurately reflects the Products. Your Products may vary slightly from those images.

2.2 The packaging of the Products may differ from that shown in images on our site.

2.3 All packaging supplied with the knife is for transportation purposes only. If packaging arrives damaged in transit, this does not warrant a return or replacement as it does not impact the Product itself.

2.4 All Products shown on our site are subject to availability. We will inform you by email as soon as possible if a Product you have ordered is not available, and we will not process your order if made.

2.5 We reserve the right to amend the specification of the Products if required by any applicable statutory or regulatory requirements.

3. Use of our site

3.1 Your use of our site is governed by our Terms of Service. Please take the time to read them, as they include important information.

4. How we use your personal information

4.1 We only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please take the time to read the policy, as it includes important information relevant to you.

5. If you are a consumer

5.1 If you are a consumer, you may only purchase Products from our site if you are at least 18 years old.

5.2 As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Products that are faulty or not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. Nothing in these Terms affects these legal rights.

6. If you are a business customer

6.1 If you are not a consumer, you confirm that you have the authority to bind any business on whose behalf you use our site to purchase Products.

6.2 These Terms and any documents expressly referred to in them constitute the entire agreement between you and us. You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise, or representation made or given by or on behalf of us which is not set out in these Terms or any document expressly referred to in them.

7. How the contract is formed between you and us

7.1 Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order. Please take the time to read and check your order at each stage of the order process.

7.2 After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received your order. However, this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Our acceptance of your order will take place as described in clause 7.3.

7.3 We will confirm our acceptance to you by sending an email that confirms the Products have been dispatched ("Dispatch Confirmation"). The Contract between us is only formed when we send the Dispatch Confirmation.

7.4 All orders may be subject to further credit or security checks.

7.5 If we are unable to supply you with a Product, for example, because that Product is out of stock or no longer available, or because of an error in the price on our site, we will inform you by email and will not process your order. If you have already paid, we will refund you as soon as possible.

Age Check

It is illegal to sell knives to persons under the age of 18. As a responsible retailer, we take steps to verify our customers’ ages.

Age Verification Process:

  1. Age Verification at Checkout
    • We use Age Verification software during checkout.
    • If your details verify successfully, you may proceed with the order.
    • If verification fails, alternative options will be presented, including verifying via driving license, credit card (not as payment), or UK mobile phone.
  2. Age Verified Delivery
    • All orders require an age-verified delivery.
    • A signature from someone 18 or older is required upon delivery, and ID may be requested.

If verification fails, please ensure your details are correct. If you cannot complete verification online, please contact us for manual verification.
