MAC 1000 Medium Grit Whetstone

£89.95 GBP

Product variants

MAC’s 1000 grit whetstone is the workhorse stone in the sharpening sequence. At around 1000 grit it is coarse enough to restore a tired plain edge and establish a clean bevel, yet fine enough to leave a serviceable kitchen finish.

It is the right choice for anyone who wants to learn real sharpening rather than simply maintain an already-sharp edge, and it pairs well with a finer stone if you want a polished result. Made in Japan.
