Zwilling’s 26cm diamond sharpening steel gives the familiar rod format more bite by coating the oval shaft with diamond abrasive. It removes a small amount of steel as the knife passes over it, making it more corrective than a conventional honing steel.

The oval profile offers a broader contact area than a thin round rod, and the steel is quick enough for routine kitchen use. It is made in Germany and weighs approximately 0.26kg.
